Allow plugin to clear/prevent search results

@marek.ostaszewski we need to design it properly,

• Clearing search results is ok.

• However, if you think about preventing search results to appear this could lead to conflicts between plugins - one plugin might depend on the search results and the other one will prevent the search results to obtained. I think we should discuss about it.

Only clear "search results" should be implemented, no modification.
